Grace Notes February & March
February changed the makeup of the Grace Church family.
And we celebrated the life of Pam Lazette. On February 20 Pam went home to be with the Lord. We mourn the loss of Pam in our lives, yet rejoice at her being welcomed into the presence of Jesus Christ.
On February 26 Red Letter Edition from Cornerstone University were our guest worship team for the worship service.
March 1 began the Season of Lent. We joined a number of churches for a joint Ash Wednesday Service held here at Grace.
We ended another 8 week session of Kid’s Club after-school Bible club at Keyser. We had a great club with 34 kids. 14 of those kids received their first Bible!
We held a membership class in February and March. We will welcome them into the the church as members in a service in a few weeks.
In March the teachers from McTigue School came to the school supply pantry for the first time. Braden United Methodist Church, their community partner, has partnered with us to serve their teachers through the school pantry. We now have all four of the Rogers High School feeder schools being served through the school supply pantry!
We ended the month of March by hosting the Annual ARC Leadership conference. New ARC President, Tom Kelby, took us through the book of Revelation using a study guide version he authored.
